B Voc or Bachelor of Vocation is a specialized 3-year undergraduate program designed to provide skill-based education. It focuses on practical training, industry exposure, and skill development in specific vocations like tourism, healthcare, or IT. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, enhancing students' employability in their chosen field.
BVoc as a course is gaining popularity in India because of the focus on skill-based education. The aim Is to enable the students to learn the skill by engaging in on-the-job training at the real shop floor of the industry/company along with classroom theoretical training. Through this Earn while you Learn approach model, the trainee may also earn a modest stipend during on-the-job duration of the course.
